Eligibility Criteria for Appointment of Visiting/Adjunct Professors
For Freshly PhD Graduates
- Fresh PhD graduates in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution (equivalence required for foreign degrees).
- No prior teaching or research experience required.
No minimum publication requirement.

For 10 years post-PhD Research Experience
- PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution (equivalence required for foreign degrees).
- At least 10 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized university or postgraduate institution.
Candidates must meet the HEC criteria for associate professor appointments.
For 15-years post-PhD Research Experience
- PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution (equivalence required for foreign degrees).
- 15 years of teaching/research experience OR 10 years post-PhD experience in a recognized university or postgraduate institution, or professional experience in a national or international organization.
Minimum 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years).
