For Assistant Director (Information)
- M.A / M.Sc. in Mass Communication or Journalism.
- Minimum two years of practical experience in a Government or Semi-Government organization.
Note: Only practical experience obtained after completing the required qualification will be considered.
For Assistant Director (Engineering)/SDO Civil
- B.Sc. (Engineering) in Civil Engineering.
- Valid permanent registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), issued on or before the closing date for online application submission.

- Male: 22 to 30 years + 5 years general age relaxation = 35 years.
- Female: 22 to 30 years + 8 years general age relaxation = 38 years.
- Transgender: Age and sex will be determined as per the details on their CNIC.
For Assistant Director (Engineering)/SDO Civil
- Male: 21 to 25 years + 5 years general age relaxation = 30 years.
